Vacation Soda

is there any chocolate chip recipes that dont use vanilla or baking soda/powder?

i would love to make some chocolate chip cookies.we’re going on vacation in a couple days and i want to make the family cookies .but here’s the thing.,..i don’t have any vanilla, or baking soda or baking powder…is there and possible cookie recipes that don’t involve those three things? probably not…but if have a good recipe please let me know!

If you have self rising flour, you can use that to bake your cookies with. If all you have is regular flour then you are going to have to have some kind of leavening agent to make your cookies rise. I would just go to the store and buy some. A kitchen should never be out of both baking soda and baking powder at the same time. The vanilla you don’t have to use and they will be okay….but while you are at the store, I would pick up some vanilla also.
